The Global Human Resources Education Development Institute (CEO Choi In-sun) announced today (30th) that it has signed an MOU for comprehensive educational cooperation with the Ministry of Education of the Kyrgyz Republic (Deputy Minister Dzhusupbekova Nadria Syntashevna) on the 26th.
This agreement is the first case of international education cooperation signed since the Kyrgyz government recently reorganized the education administration system into a dual structure of the Ministry of Elementary and Secondary Education and the Ministry of Higher and Specialized Education.
The main goal is to introduce the Korean language and culture education system at all educational stages from elementary school to university students, and to establish a model for studying in Korea and working in Korea based on this.
Through this agreement, the two sides agreed to cooperate in creating an environment where Kyrgyzstan's youth can naturally access the Korean language and culture from a younger age, and thereby developing their future study and employment capabilities at an early stage.
To realize this goal, the Global Human Resources Education Development Institute plans to build an integrated LMS (Learning Management System) in Kyrgyzstan that covers everything from beginner to advanced based on the digital Korean language education system (K-PAL) developed by the institute.
This system goes beyond simple language education and provides content in various fields such as Korean culture, digital literacy, basic vocational skills, and global citizenship education.
The LMS is designed to link classroom instruction, online learning, camps, and workshop activities, and learning history is systematically managed based on data.
In particular, the K-PAL platform is designed to not only improve Korean language skills, but also to develop practical academic and employment competencies, such as preparation for TOPIK exams, study abroad preparation, self-introduction writing, interview training, and etiquette education in Korean life culture.
In addition, this agreement includes linkage with the 'Hangukmun' overseas human resources integration platform being developed by the Global Human Resources Education Development Institute.
Hanmun is a system that can digitally manage the process of studying and working in Korea, and provides a life-cycle education and employment management system that includes visa issuance guidance, document submission, study history check, corporate recruitment linkage, settlement management, and career transition after returning to Korea.
"This agreement is not just a support for foreign language education, but a turning point for Korea and Kyrgyz to move toward a strategic educational partnership to cultivate future generations of talents," said Choi In-sun, a professor at Songgok University.
He added, "This model will develop into a global package of K-Edu that can be exported not only to Central Asia but also to other countries such as Mongolia and Southeast Asia."
The two sides will continue to coordinate practical action measures such as joint content development, teacher training, and certification system through working-level consultations, and gradually expand the scope of cooperation to recommend scholarship students to study in Korea, short-term training camps, and internship programs with industrial companies.
