On October 14, the Bataan Special Economic Zone Authority (AFAB) signed a Declaration of Commitment and Support for the promotion of industrial and human resource development projects with South Korea's Msquare Global Co., Ltd. and the Global Talent Education and Development Institute (GHRDI) at its headquarters in Maribelles, Bataan, Philippines.
The agreement aims to jointly discover industrial and human resource development projects that can be implemented within the free trade zone and establish a lasting cooperative relationship. Under the agreement, AFAB and Korean partners will promote cooperation in various fields, including information exchange, assessment of investable areas, and training and capacity building programs.
The Global Talent Education and Development Institute participated in the signing as a representative of Choi In-sun and promised cooperation in the fields of human resource development, education and training, and institutional capacity building. Choi Byung-ho, CEO of Msquare Global Co., Ltd., expressed his willingness to actively participate in the discovery and evaluation of industrial projects within AFAB and support Korean companies to enter the Philippines.
AFAB said it will actively provide legally guaranteed incentives and administrative support to help future cooperation projects move to specific implementation stages.
The signing ceremony was attended by Oh Young-oh, advisor of Msquare Global Co., Ltd., Jang Jang-kyung and Lee Geun-hee, CEO of PnB Group, and lawyer Percival Peralta, head of the AFAB administrative office.
Through this agreement, AFAB plans to further strengthen cooperation with trusted international partners and build a sustainable cooperation model that generates tangible benefits for each other.
